MEDIUM & PROCESS

Acrylics and mixed media allow me to build layers through glazing, translucency, texture, and colour — creating depth and richness within each painting.

STYLE

Working in abstract and semi-abstract forms, my paintings evolve intuitively, inviting personal interpretation and emotional connection.

PLACE

Based in Taupō, subtle elements of landscape and environment are gently woven into each work.

CONTINUING PRACTICE

Learning remains central to my process with ongoing exploration shaping every new painting.

MY

STORY

After formal study and tuition, including completing my diploma through Artists University Network USA in 2015, I continued to develop my practice through workshops and ongoing learning. Each experience contributed to refining my own visual language and confidence as an artist.

In March 2019, I was selected as one of five New Zealand artists to be filmed by Colour In Your Life Australia. My 30-minute episode was distributed worldwide via YouTube and international ART TV channels, marking a significant milestone in my artistic journey.

This exposure led to representation by galleries throughout New Zealand, as well as in London and the United States. I have been a full-time artist for several years and feel incredibly fortunate to be living my dream, creating commissioned works, meeting collectors, and seeing my paintings placed in homes here and around the world.

The journey continues. Happiness is being an artist.”
